First meeting took place on the 4th of November 2025, to discuss regional and global geopolitical events and incidents with (R) Ambassador Hüseyin Diriöz, Director of Foreign Policy Institute, Professor Hasan Ünal, Director of New World Research Centre, (R) Admiral Dr. Deniz Kutluk making presentations on current regional and global developments and Mr. Ahmet Doğan, Founding President of the Diplomatic Club moderating it. It was followed by a short coffee/tea break and concluded with about an hour-long Q&A session.
Second meeting took place on the 8th of December 2025 with Ahmet Doğan moderating and kicking off the session with a brief comment, and Professor Ünal, Admiral Dr. Kutluk and Ambassador Diriöz engaging in debate on current affairs particularly focusing on Russia-Ukraine War and the latest peace proposals, increasing tension between Türkiye and Israel as well as Türkiye-EU relations with special reference to the SAFE.
After a short break the meeting resumed with an hour-long Q&A session in which several participants contributed to the discussion through comments.
The third meeting took place on the 18th of December to wrap up 2025 with Mr. Ahmet Doğan, Ambassador Diriöz and Professor Ünal, each giving a short survey of the year and participants coming up with comments and questions. The meeting ended with all participants expressing their sincere wish that the Diplomatic Blend will continue into the new year and the organisers announcing that the participants will soon receive invitations to new meetings in the new year.
Diplomatic Blend will continue rigorously in the new year and the meetings and events will be announced through invitations.
